Ingredients

200 g (1 cup) butter or margarine

1/2 cup cocoa

2 cups brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup plain flour or rice flour

2 eggs

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1 30x20cm baking pan

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven 350 F
  2. Melt butter and cocoa in a pot. Do not boil.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Remove pot from heat and stir in the flour
  5. Beat in the eggs
  6. Grease a 30x20 cm pan
  7. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan
  8. Bake 20-25 min. Let cool in the pan
