Ingredients

3 tbs. oil

1 1/2 lbs. beef steak (cubed)

1 tin slived mushrooms

1 cup onions

1 cup diced celery

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp ginger

2 1/2 cups liquid off mushrooms or I use 10 oz tins of beef gravy

2 tbs. soya sauce

1 can bean sprouts (drain well)

Preparation

Fry meat- when brown add mushrooms, brown and stir often. Drain off fat, add onion, celery, salt, pepper, ginger and liquid. Bring to a boil, cover, turn down heat, simmer 40 minutes. Add soya sauce and bean sprouts which have been drained. You may whish to thicken with a small amount of cornstarch/water.
