Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

4 1/2 Tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa

3/4 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

9 Tablespoons melted butter

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1 1/2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 1/2 cups cold water

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350. Sift dry ingredients together directly into ungreased 9x13 pan. Smooth out the dry ingredients and make 2 small and 1 larger “wells” in the dry ingredients (none of the bottom of the pan should be showing). Pour melted butter into largest well. Pour vinegar into one of the smaller wells, pour the vanilla into the last well. Pour the cold water over everything. Mix the ingredients in the pan with a fork until well blended, be sure to scrape corners and sides to blend all the dry ingredients with the wet.

Bake for 25 minutes!
