Ingredients

4 oz(s) castor sugar

4 oz(s) soft butter unsalted

4 oz(s) self-raising flour

2 whole eggs

1 tbsp(s) chocolate powder

Preparation

Cream together the margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl Add the eggs, flour & chocolate powder. Give a good mix until ribbon stage. Pour into tin with grease-proof paper in the bottom Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C/Gas Mark 4 Leave cake to cool on a wire rack. You can decorate with a canister of whipped cream or dust with icing sugar.My kids just eat it plain as it is.You know what under 6yrs are like wanting to make a cake,so there you go.fast & simple
