Ingredients

1/3 cup light cream

1 3 oz. package cream cheese

8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

3 egg yolks

pinch of salt

3 egg whites

3 tbsp. sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300°F. Blend cream and cream cheese together in a double boiler over low heat. Add chocolate pieces and stir until melted. Cool. In a bowl beat egg yolks and salt until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually blend in the chocolate mixture. In a separate bowl beat egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in chocolate mixture. Pour into greased 4 cup (1 L) soufflé dish. Bake in oven for 45 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Serve immediately.
