2 1/2 c flour

1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2c sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 c chilled unsalted butter, 1/2" cubes

1 1/4 c whipping cream

1 lg egg yolk

whole mmilk

Preparation

oven 425’ whisk dry ingreds tog, cut in butter-to coarse meal. whisk cream and yolk tog.stir cream mix into flour.knead gently 5 times. pat into 3/4" thick round. use biscuit cutter. transfer to sheet, brush with milk-gently! bake till puffed and dry-18 minutes. cool. serve with jam, clotted cream
