Ingredients
1 cup tawny port wine
2 oz bittersweet chocolate
1/4 teaspoon anise extract
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle chili pepper, or to taste
Preparation
1.After searing a substantial meat like beef, lamb, or pork… 2. Drain excess fat from pan. Return pan to stove over medium heat. 3. Add port, chocolate, anise extract, cumin, and chipotle, swirling around until thickened and reduced by 1/3 to 1/2, about 10 minutes. 4. Place seared meat on 4 plates. Drizzle sauce over top and serve.
