Ingredients
4 squares bittersweet chocolate
4 squares semisweet chocolate
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 eggs
2 pie crusts
whipped cream
chocolate shavings
Preparation
Melt the chocolates using a double boiler. Cream together the powdered sugar and butter and combine gently with the melted chocolate. Stir in the vanilla, then add the eggs one at a time, beating with an electric mixer for 3-5 minutes after each egg, until mixture appears light in color and fluffy in texture. Spread mixture into pre-prapared and cooled Pie Crusts. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings and chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
