Ingredients
1 cup sugar
3 tbs. cocoa
3 tbs. flour
1 cup milk
3 egg yokes
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie crust
Merangue: 3 egg whites
6 tbs. sugar
Preparation
In a double boiler, mix 1st. 3 ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients & cook, stiring regularly untill thickened
Beat egg whites while gradually adding 6 tbs. sugar. Beat untill stiff
Bake pie crust @ 350° until done
Add filling & merrangue & bake until merrangue is very light brown
