Ingredients
12oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
3 3/4 C whipping cream
1/4 C sugar
Preparation
Put chocolate, vanilla, and salt in a food processor or blender until it it finely chopped.
Boil 1C of cream and pour it into the blender while it is running. Put in a bowl and let cool until it is room temperature.
Whip 2C of cream and the sugar until it forms stiff peaks.
Fold the chocolate mix into the whipped cream.
Spoon into bowl(s) or prepared crusts.
Chill and let set ~6 hours (less time is needed if you are putting them directly into serving-sized dishes)
Whip the last 3/4C cream
Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate
