Ingredients

1 cup Sugar

1/4 cup Crisco

1/4 cup Butter

1/4 cup Dark Molasses

1/2 tsp Salt

1 Egg

1 tsp Cinnamon

2 cup Flour

1/2 tsp Ginger

1/2 tsp All Spice

1 1/2 tsp Soda

1/2 pkg Miniture Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco, and butter. Add remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. When well combined, gently stir in chocolate chips.

Form into balls about the diameter of a quarter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350’ about 12 minutes, or until slightly cracked.

Hint: Over-baking makes these cookies crunchy, under-baking them slightly leaves them soft even days later!
