Ingredients

3 tablespoons blanched almonds

6 tablespoons sugar

1 1/4 cup flour

2 tsp orange zest

1/4 tsp salt

6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter in pieces

12 ounces bittersweet chocolate

1 1/4 cup heavy cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp Grand Marnier

Preparation

  1. Make dough in food processor. Grind. almonds until fine. Add dry ingredients until combined. Add butter and pulse until coarse crumbs form Press into 9 inch tart pan. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Make ganache. Melt chocolate with cream until smooth. Add vanilla nd liquor. Pour into tart shell and set for 2 hours. Serve at room temperature.
