Ingredients

2 cups self rising flour

3 tbs sugar

1/2 cup crisco shortening

1/2 cup milk

1 lg egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 degrees In a med bowl combine flour and sugar cut in shortening. In another bowl beat milk,egg,vanilla until thouroughly combined. Add this mixture to first bowl.(flour/shortening bowl)

Mix gently until combined. Add chocolate chips mix gently to form soft dough. Turn dough on lightly floured board and knead 5-6 times. Roll out into 7 inch round. Cut into 4 wedges put on non stick baking sheet 1 inch apart. Pierce top of wedges with fork. bake 18-20 min until lightly colored. remove from oven and let cool.
