Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 sticks soft butter
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
3 cups oatmeal
12 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in small bowl. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar in medium bowl. Add vanilla and eggs. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Add oats and chocolate chips. Chill for 2 hours in fridge. Form into small balls and bake in oven for about 10 minutes, until they don’t look doughy any more. Remove from oven and cool on racks.
