Ingredients

BATTER:

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup butter (softened)

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 cup chocolate chips

TOPPING:

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 tbsp cocoa

1/4 cup flour

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease muffin/cupcake pan.

BATTER

  1. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Stir in sour cream. Gradually add in flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Pour batter into muffin cups - about 2/3 full TOPPING: Combine chocolate chips, cocoa, flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter. Sprinkle over muffins.

Bake muffins 20-25 minutes.
