Ingredients

2 sticks butter

1/2 cup shortening

3/4 cup white sugar

1 3/4 cup light brown sugar

3 eggs - 1 at a time

1 t. vanilla

3 3/4 cup flour

2 t. baking soda

1/2 t. salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Cream together room temperature butter and shortening. Add rest of wet ingredients. Add eggs one at a time.

Beat dry ingredients into wet a little bit at a time. Add chocolate chips and pecans.

Drop by ice cream scoop onto cookie sheet. Bake for 11 minutes until done.
