Ingredients

2 sticks butter (1 lb.)

1 1/2 cups white sugar

4 large eggs

2 cups flour - sifted

3 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 cup whipping cream

zest of 1 lemon

6 oz. chocolate chips

Preparation

Cream the butter till soft and fluffy. Slowly add sugar in small amount and beat until light and creamy (about 2 mins). Combine dry ingredients. Mix together whip cream and vanilla. Alternately, stir flour mix and cream into batter. Stir in lemon zest. Dust Chocolate chips w/ four (very important) so they don’t sink to bottom. Fold into batter. Spoon into loaf pans. Bake 1 hour - could be more or less depending on your oven. Let cool completely before removing from pans. Enjoy!!
