Ingredients

2 Large banana’s

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 Large eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation

Place rack in the middle of the oven preheat to 350°F. Grease a 5" x 9" loaf pan.

In a medium bowl mash banana’s, after mashing banana’s add in the melted butter, sugar and two large eggs. Beat until combined, once combined set aside.

In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Mix until combined. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and pour the banana mixture into the well. Mix until thoroughly combined and no flour is visible. Add in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.

Pour batter into the loaf pan and place in the oven for 40 minutes or until knife is inserted in the middle and comes out almost clean.
