Ingredients

1 ¼ cup butter or margarine softened 2 cups sugar

2 eggs 2 tea vanilla 2 cups unsifted flour ¾ cup Hershey’s cocoa

1 tea baking soda ½ tea salt 1 cup finely chopped nuts if desired

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla, blend well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt, blend into the

creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons Onto ungreased cookie sheet bake at 350 for 8-9 minutes Let cool for one minute before removing from pan to cool On wire rack
