Ingredients

1 package devil’s food cake

1 can cherry pie filling

3 eggs

1 teaspoon almond extract

Frosting:

1 cup sugar

1/3 cup milk 5 tablespoons butter

1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix all cake ingredients together and put in a jelly roll pan or 1/2 sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

For frosting, combine sugar, milk, and butter. Bring to a boil. Cook 1 minute and then add 1 cup chocolate chips.

Frost cake and let cool for 1 1/2 hours.
