Ingredients
1 cup margarine
3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 squares semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup caramels, quartered
3/4 cups coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
Cream margarine, sugars, egg and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer until light and creamy. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixutre; beating at low speed until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto greased baaking sheet. Bake at 375 for 9 - 12 minutes, or until light golden.
