Ingredients
2 cups stale bread crumbs (hallah or other firm bread)
1 quart scalded milk
½ cup sugar or more
¼ cup melted butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp cinnamon
2 squares unsweetened chocolate- grated
1 cup raisins
Preparation
Soak bread crumbs in milk, set aside until cool Add other ingredients. Bake 1 hour in buttered pudding dish in moderate oven (325). Serve warm with hard sauce.
