Ingredients

4 oz semi sweet or bittersweet chocolate

1/4# butter

2/3c sugar

3 eggs

1 2/3 c (8oz) ground almonds

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp almond extract

powdered sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375. Grease and flour cake pan. Melt chocolate and butter. Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar, followed by eggs, almonds, vanilla and almond extract. Turn the batter into prepared pan. Bake 25 min. Cool in the pan on a rack. Service dusted with powdered sugar. 305 calories, 6g protein, 25g carbohydrates
