Ingredients
1/3 c shortening
1/3 c butter or margarine
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 6 oz. pkg semisweet chocolage chips
4 oz nuts
Preparation
- Heat oven to 375. Grease 13x9 baking pan.
- Mix shortening, butter, sugars, egg and vanilla thoroughly.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Spread dough in pan. Bake until light brown, 20-25 minutes.
- Dut into 3 x 1 1/2 in bars.
