Ingredients
Dressing:
1/2 c. veg or olive oil
1/2 c. sugar (splenda)
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Slaw:
5 scallions chopped
1 bag shredded green cabbage with carrots
1 bag red cabbage
Crunchies:
1/4 c. butter or marg.
3/4 to 1 cup slivered almonds
1 pkg. Raman noodles (remove flavor packet.)
Preparation
Dressing: Mix together oil, sugar, vinegar & soy sauce. Refrigerate.
Slaw: Toss together scallions, green and red cabbage.
Crunchies: Break up Raman noodles, fry slivered almonds & noodles in butter until browned. You can do this ahead of time.
Mix dressing, slaw and crunchies when ready to serve. Instead of frying the crunchies you can spray a cookie sheet with olive oil and bake them.
