Ingredients
1 cup Half & Half 1/2 lb. Grated Monterey Jack Cheese
2 Eggs 1/2 lb. Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/3 cup Flour 1 can Tomato Sauce (8 oz.)
3 cans Whole Green Chilies (4 oz. cans)
Preparation
Beat half and half with eggs and flour until smooth. Rinse and dry chilies. Mix cheeses and save half for topping. Lightly oil 1½-quart deep casserole dish. Layer in order - cheese, chilies, and egg mixture. Pour tomato sauce over top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until cooked through. (Yield - 4)
