Ingredients
10 peeled green chilis
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup chedddar cheese
3 eggs
1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp. salt
Black pepper to taste
Dash of liquid hot pepper sauce
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread chilis on paper towel and pat dry. Slip a strip of Jack cheese in each chili and lay them in a 9x9 pan sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. In bowl, beat eggs and flour together until smooth. Add milk, salt, pepper, and pepper sauce. Beat egg mixture thoroughly. Pour mixture over chilis. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean.
