Ingredients

3 tblsp of virgin olive oil

1 large onion finely chopped

1 tblsp of basil or 2 fresh leaves

half tblsp of oregano

kayene pepper* spice to your desire

tsp paprikra

1 slice of bacon

2 cloves of garlic finely chopped.

1 large can of san marzano peeled tomatoes

2 cans of goya chick peas

1 large chicken breast

Preparation

In a medium sauce pan over low heat, heat the oil and then cook the onions, garlic and bacon(6 to 8 min.) Add the tomato sauce then add seasoning. stir. Add the chickpeas without liquid stir and simmer for 10 minutes. While simmering grill chicken and cut up in cubes then add to stew for 2-3 min. Add seasoning to taste.
