Ingredients
1 whole chicken cut-up into 8 pieces
4 carrots sliced
4 stalks celery coarsely chopped
16 ounces spaghetti sauce
10 ounces water
8 ounces Bertolli noodles, ziti or rigatoni
2 bayleafs
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Put all ingredients except pasta in large stock pot on top of stove. Simmer on medium heat until chicken is cooked thoroughly - about one and one half hours. Add pasta to pot. Cook an additional fifteen minutes. Serve with Italian or French bread.
