Ingredients

2 1/2 - 3 lbs. broiler chicken, cut up

4 c. water

1 c. chopped onion

5 boullion cubes

1/4 tsp pepper

2 c. carrots

1/3 c. flour

1/2 c. water

1 1/2 c. slided celery

2 c. Bisquick

2/3 c. milk

1 tbsp parsley flakes

Preparation

Heat chicken, 4 c. water, onion, boullion and pepper to boiling in 4 qt. pan, reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 30 min. Add carrots, simmer 10 min. Mix flour and 1/2 c. water. Stir flour mix and celery into chicken mixture. Cook stirring constantlyh until thickened. Mix baking mix, milk and parsley until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling stew. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 min. Cover and cook 10 min. longer
