Ingredients
1 pkg. dry onion soup
chicken breasts, thighs and other pieces equivalent to one chicken
1 can mushroom soup
1 C. Sauterne, wine – other white wine can be added, but this wine gives distinctive flavor
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 small can pimiento
Preparation
- Sprinkle dry soup mix in bottom of 9x13 pan.
- Lay chicken pieces on top.
- Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
- Bake at 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours or until tender
