Ingredients
1 whole chicken
1 onion chopped
pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, poultry seasoning
4 chicken bouillon cubes
3 cups uncooked rice
Applesauce
Preparation
Put chicken in large pot and cover with water. Add onion and seasonings to taste. Boil until chicken is tender. Take chicken out of broth and cool. Sit broth aside. Put deboned chicken, rice and 6 cups of broth in pot; cover. Bring to a boil, lower fire to low and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cook 15 minutes more. Serve with applesauce.
