Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter
3 cups mushrooms
1/2 cup flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups milk
4 cups chopped cooked chicken or turkey (cooked ground works too)
3 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Melt butter
stir in mushrooms and cook until softened (about 5 minutes)
stir in flour until well blended
whisk in broth and milk
bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook until sauce is thickened and smooth
mix in chicken and rice
pour into prepared dish, top with bread crumbs and cheese
bake 25 - 35 minutes
