Ingredients
1- 2# frying chicken
1/3 cup flour
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/3 cup minced onion
2 t paprika
1 t salt
2 T hot water
1 can chicken gravy
1/4 t lemon juice
pinch grated lemon rind
1/2 cup sour cream
Preparation
Dust chicken wiwth flour. In deep skillet heat oil. Add chicken, brown lightly on all sides. Add onion. Sprinkle with paprika and salt. Add hot water. Cover, simmer about 45 minutes or until tender. Remove chicken to warm platter. Stir in gravy, lemon juice and lemon rind. Heat through. Add sour cream to thicken. Pour over chicken.
