Ingredients
Burger Patty:
1 1/3 Lb Ground Chicken or Turkey
1/2 cup minced onion
3 garlic cloves, grated or pasted
1/3 cup grated parmigiano cheese
2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
Salt & Pepper
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg white
1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
Olive Oil
Salad Topping:
4 Cups Baby Arugula
Juice of 1 Lemon
2 Tbls Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Rolls:
4 Kaiser Rolls
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
Olive Oil
Preparation
Combine all ingredients for burger patties except Panko Bread Crumbs and Olive Oil. Form 4 flat burgers, slightly larger than rolls. Coat burger patties in panko and saute in olive oil over medium heat until cooked through and browned on both sides.
Toss Arugula with lemon, olive oil, salt & pepper.
Slice rolls and brush insides with olive oil and coat with garlic powder; toast in toaster oven or under broiler until golden.
Place a burger on a toasted roll and top with salad and roll top and enjoy.
