Ingredients

Chicken broth 5 cups

Shredded boneless chicken pieces 1 cup

Lentil boiled 1 cup

Cornflour 4 tbsp.

Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

Green chilli chopped 1tbsp.

Cilantro chopped 2tbsp.

Lemon 1

Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Put chicken broth, chicken pieces and lentil in a pressure pan.
  2. Bring it to boil. Reduce the heat and then let it cook till the chicken pieces become tender (about 20 minutes)
  3. Add green chilli, black pepper powder and salt.
  4. Mix cornflour in 1/4 cup water.
  5. Slowly add this to the soup and stir continuously. Cook until it becomes thick. Remove from heat
  6. Serve hot. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro leaves and lemon juice.
