Ingredients
2lbs round steak, tederized, trimmed of all fat
1 cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
Oil
Salt & Pepper, for taste
Gravy;
6 tbl pan drippings
6 tbl flour
3 cups milk
Salt & Pepper, for taste
Preparation
Cut steak into 6 pieces. Combine flour, salt & pepper. Dredge steaks in flour mixture. Combine eggs and milk. Dip steaks in egg mixture, then dredge again in flour. In heavy skillet, fry steaks in hot oil until golden brown on each side. Remove from pan.
Gravy; Leave 6 tbl of pan drippings in skillet. Add flour, cook and stir until flour browns. Add milk, stir until thinken. Season with salt and pepper. Pou over warm steaks.
