Ingredients

2 hens, boiled in 2 qt seasoned water

GRAVY

1 c chicken fat; skim broth

1 c flour

6 c broth

6 eggs, beaten

DRESSING

your favorite dressing using 3 qt bread crumbs

Preparation

Remove meat from bones, dice in bite size pieces. For gravy, bring to boil fat, flour, & broth, then add gradually to beaten eggs, return all to heat and cook til thick. Combine dressing ingredients. In greased baking pan (roaster or two sq cake pans) put layer of dressing. Save some dressing for topping. Then add diced chicken, then gravy, and top with some dressing pieces. Bake 350 for 30-60 minutes until browned.
