Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter

1 c. chopped onion

1 1/2 tsp. curry powder

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can sliced water chestnuts

2 1/2 c. cooked, cubed chicken

2 Tbsp. parsley

1/2 c. sour cream

3 c. hot cooked rice

Slivered or chopped almonds

Preparation

Saute’ onions in butter. Add curry powder. Stir in undiluted soups, water chestnuts, and chicken. Heat thoroughly. Add parsley and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Serve over rice. Sprinkle with almonds.
