Ingredients
1 cup rice
2 cup water
8 oz chicken
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 celery, diced
1/2 can water chestnuts
1/4 green pepper cut into strips
1/4 red pepper cut into strips
1 carrot cut into julienne strips (very small strips)
1/2 cup pea pods
Preparation
Combine and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low, cover and let simmer for ten minutes.
