Ingredients
cooking spray
2 garlic cloves
1 lb ground chicken
3/4 cup prepared pizza sauce
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1 (13.8oz) can refrigerated pie crust
1/2 cup 92 oz0 shredded part skim mozzarella
Preparation
- preheat oven to 425 degrees
- heat nonstick pan over high heat. spray. Add garlic and chiken to pan and saute 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Stir in pizza sauce and pepper. reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in basil. let stand 10 minutes.
- unroll dough onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Cut dough int oquarters. pat each portion into an 8x6 rectangle. Divide chicken evenly between rectangles on one side ofrectangle. . Top each with 2 t cheese. Fold dough in half over filling. pinch edges. repeat. bake at 425 for 12 munuites or until golden brown.
