Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 3/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 eggs

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 cups flour

1 can cherry pie filling

Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg and mix well. Add dry ingredients.

Pat half in a jelly roll pan. Pour on 1 can cherry pie filling. Put rest of batter on in dots and spread.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Drizzle with powdered sugan frosting.
