Ingredients

6 T butter

1 C sugar

1 1/2 t baking powder

3/4 C milk

1 C flour

1 t salt

1 can cherry pie filling

Preparation

Melt butter in 2 quart baking dish. Make batter by mixing sugar, baking powder, milk, flour, and salt. Pour batter over hot melted butter; do not stir. Pour 1 can cherry pie filling over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40".
